After yesterday we had discussed about the Sony Xperia discussed will carry the UL Quad-Core Snapdragon chipset 600, this time there is an official news release by one of the Japanese telecom operator, KDDI.
According to the rumors, the chipset used on Sony Xperia UL is indeed using Quad-Core Snapdragon. Unfortunately, that will be used is not 600 but the Snapdragon 1.5GHz Quad-Core APQ8064 Snapdragon S4. To screen itself, Sony Xperia LCD screen will carry the UL 5-inch full HD (1080p) which will be supported with Bravia 2 video engine.
Other specifications for the Sony Xperia UL include 2GB of RAM and Adreno 320 GPU, with a dedicated camera button kualiats 13 megapixel camera and HD support for recording and image capture 15 images per second when in a state of Burst Mode. Internal capacity of 16GB with MicroSD card slot to increase capacity. Sony Xperia UL will also have NFC, Felica, Infrared, and DLNA.
Sony Xperia UL will have the operating system Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This latest mobile phone from Sony is likely only to be launched exclusively in Japan through KDDI on May 25, 2013.
