New LeEco Le 1s Mobile Smartphone Review February 2016

Leeco been smart of Le 1s at Rs. 10,999, whereas this feature premium packaging and specifications that too can make this product very attractive in a very competitive segment. This phone has one of the best metal building that we have seen in the sub-15K price bracket. Also, it offers the best performance among its competitors. To be refreshing, which Leeco Le 1s has a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of Full HD. It is strongly supported by Helio X10 Mediatek SoC. There 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and microSD card support. The 3000mAh battery is enough to take your phone with ease through the day. Apart from all these, the phone comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera is perfect for camera lovers. Leeco has loaded the camera with many features to offer the best image quality. Here is an overview of all the special features and technologies offered Le1s Leeco.
New LeEco Le 1s 2016
LeEco Le 1s

First of all, this is no regular 13-megapixel sensor. It is equipped with a blue glass infrared filter which comes with ISOCELL technology. With this, the phone is able to capture every single detail making sure that you get the best picture quality. The camera supports auto-focus and is further aided by a single LED flash. The rear camera also supports advanced features like PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus) which further enhances the camera performance of the smartphone. It uses VCM ball bearing and closed loop technology which lets the Le 1s click a picture in less than 0.09 of a second. With such shutter speeds, it is one of the ideal portable devices for sports fans who want to capture the moment, then and there. Besides that, the F2.0 Aperture will let you get really close to your subject and take those beautiful macro shots. The phone can also record crispy videos in 1080p as well as in 4K.

Coming to the 5MP front-facing camera which is also one of the best in its class. It is capable of beautiful selfies and more than sufficient for video calls. It uses a wide 85 degree lens so that you can take the perfect selfie with your loved ones. All this great hardware is powered by a superb eUI camera app. The app enables the phone to offer good image quality every time and plays an important role in making the image taking experience fast and accurate. Features like digital zooming and time lapse videos also add to the camera experience of the Le 1s.

New Canon EOS 5DS R Digital Camera Performa and Features

The EOS 5DS R has a 50.6MP full-frame CMOS sensor powered by two Digic 6 processors. This lets the camera capture 8,688 x 5,792-pixel files at a very respectable 5 frames per second, just like the Sony A7R Mark II. The 50.6MP chip is the most pixels you can get in a DSLR or mirrorless camera, as of this writing.

Having used both the 5DS and 5DS R for a few months, we thought we would be familiar with using them. But we only just scratched the surface of their capabilities, and it will require months of experimenting to become familiar with all the menu options, such as the Fine Detail mode in the Picture Styles menu that gives access to Sharpness sub-settings. We’re sure studio photographers will have a ball with this, but since we’re not studio shutterbugs, all of our shots were handheld.

Best Canon EOS 5DS R review 2016
Canon EOS 5DS R

Unlike Canon’s ultra-high-end pro DSLR, such as the $5,300 EOS-1D X, the 5DS R has a Smart Auto. Normally you would find this on entry- and mid-level DSLRs, so it’s surprising that Canon would put it on here. With that said, we have seen experienced photographers use this mode in situations where they just want to quickly capture a fleeting moment. There are also three custom options available on the dial, as well as a Bulb mode (used for long exposure).

The 5DS R has a native ISO range of 100-6,400 but you can hit 50 and 12,800 via expansion settings. The camera is an excellent low-light performer and our sample subject held up very well to ISO 3,200, and even 12,800 was usable. The built-in optical image stabilization of the zoom did a fine job keeping things steady and sharp.

You’ll find the hot shoe on the top deck, with a locking mode dial and on/off switch on one side, and on the other side, buttons for White Balance/Metering, Drive/AF type, Exposure Compensation/ISO, and lamp (for illuminating the mono LCD that shows shooting parameters). Toward the top of the grip are a jog wheel, an AF-area selection/Multi-function key, and an angled shutter button. Like other high-end Canon DSLRs, you won’t find a built-in flash. The two dominant features on the back are the large optical viewfinder with diopter control and 3.2-inch fixed-position LCD display (rated 1.04 million dots). The viewfinder offers 100-percent coverage with .71x magnification, and it’s excellent. The LCD, on the other hand, is adequate but not world class; studio photographers would attach laptops or monitors as their view screens anyway.

There are a lot of buttons on the back. To left of the LCD are Delete, Playback, Enlarge/Reduce, Rate, and Creative Photo/Two-Image Display (the latter functions are geared toward pros). Nearby are Menu and Info buttons; Live View Control for stills/video, as well as a center start/stop for recording; and AF-ON, AE Lock, and AF point selection. Given the camera has a 61-point AF system (41 cross-type), you can choose among any of them by using the joystick or jog wheel. We liked that the joystick is raised and easy to control. The nearby Q (Quick) key gives access to the available parameters, plus there’s a large control wheel with center Set button. Finally there’s a Multifunction Lock switch that prevents inadvertent camera adjustments. On the right side is a compartment for two cards, CompactFlash and SD. The CF slot accepts Type-1/UDMA-rated media, and all SD cards can be used including SDXC. Although Canon doesn’t recommend the fastest cards available, we suggest you get one to speed the flow of 50.6MP files. The camera also supports USB 3.0 for faster file transfers.

Riva Audio Turbo X Bluetooth Speaker Review And Price

The Turbo X is filled with all sorts of features, only one of which we’d consider frivolous: A wave of the hand over the top of the speaker will “wake up” on-board controls, which basically means they light up – the touch-capacitive keys also illuminate as soon as you touch one. Otherwise, the Turbo X is loaded with useful stuff.

For instance, the namesake Turbo button increases loudness and bass so the speaker can play as loud as a claimed 100 decibels without blowing itself up (to say nothing of your eardrums). We can vouch that the button certainly does increase loudness, but we think most folks won’t need it while indoors unless there’s a big party going on. Outdoors, where the extra beef helps the speaker sound much bigger than it is, the Turbo button makes a little more sense. We just wish engaging it didn’t make the ridiculous “vroooom” sound effect you can hear in the video above.
New Riva Audio Turbo X Bluetooth Speaker 2016

Riva Audio Turbo X Bluetooth Speaker

Based purely on sound quality, my top three portable Bluetooth speaker picks would be the Bowers & Wilkins T7, Bang & Olufsen A2, and the Riva Turbo X. Each of these three has its own admirable sonic characteristics, making a “which is best” determination very difficult. But in the end, the one I want to take home and live with on the long term is the Turbo X. This speaker just does it for me.

The A2 is a much snazzier looking speaker than the Turbo X (hey, it’s Bang & Olufsen), is far more portable thanks to its soft leather strap and light weight, and puts out an impressive amount of bass, but it lacks the warmth and depth I crave. The T7, on the other hand, has a more uniform, balanced sound, a respectable amount of bass, and a very cool aesthetic, but it lacks the punch and power the Turbo X has, and its battery falls a good eight hours short of the Turbo X’s.

The Turbo X may not be the most fetching speaker on the block, but it certainly isn’t rough on the eyes, either. It’s got killer battery life and, with the addition of Riva’s carrying case, is just as portable as the A2 and T7. What really cinches the deal for the Turbo X is the right blend of sonic power, punch, presence, balance, and detail. It’s a speaker made by musicians, and it sounds like it.

The funny thing about us musicians is that we want to hear honesty from a speaker — music the way it was made to sound. We want faithful reproduction, not sculpted art. The sculpting has already been done by the mixing and mastering professionals who recorded and produced the music, it doesn’t need to be re-sculpted. In fact, the best thing a speaker can do is just get out of the way, and the Turbo X does that better than any other Bluetooth speaker I’ve tested thus far – and I’ve tested a lot.

Best KEF Egg Wireless high-quality 24-bit Digital Music System Review

As a fully self-contained speaker system, the Egg comes with both a high-quality 24-bit/96kHz DAC capable of playing back many high-resolution digital audio files, and a 50-watt digital amplifier, all built right in. The USB connection will be useful when connecting to a desktop or laptop computer, while the digital optical/3.5 mm hybrid jack allows digital connections to televisions and analog connections to nearly anything else you can think of. For streaming, the Egg offers a Bluetooth 4.1 wireless connection with aptX decoding for devices that support the codec.
New Best KEF Egg Wireless 2016
Best KEF Egg Wireless

I invariably get asked for purchasing advice on a wide range of audio and video products, but recently, I’m getting asked a lot more questions about computer speakers. It turns out, many people are buying big monitors and converting their computers from mere email and Web surfing machines to full-blown entertainment systems. This tells me that speakers like the KEF Egg have a potential audience. But when I bring up the Egg in conversation, the price tends to be a little … off-putting. I think that’s because folks usually think of computer speakers as relatively inexpensive packages that come with subwoofers that make a lot of boom. It’s true, those inexpensive systems will make a good deal of boom, but not a whole lot else. Dialog tends to sound chunky, sound effects are often too loud, and, musically speaking, well … there’s just not much to get excited about.

Those are all great things, but they are things that I think will only appeal to those who are very serious about sound quality. Fortunately, those are the same sort of folks who won’t balk at the notion of $500 for such a versatile speaker system.

So, while I have no reservations whatsoever about giving the KEF Egg my full, unfettered recommendation (and an Editor’s Choice badge,) I do so with the desire that the reader understand I know this system isn’t for everyone. Though, I will say, once you hear it, you may not be able to accept anything else for your multimedia needs. The Egg is just that good.

Camera is not as good as it says, especially in low light situations. But front cam is average though. The headphones that came with it is horrible. Instead they could have gotten rid of the headphones like all the other manufacturers. No one cares about them nowadays. Display technology is outdated as most of them switched to laminated displays. Anyways, I didn't get what I paid for, not literally. I've used a lot of smartphones, and this is my first Indian phone. Overall, it's a good value phone for new users and they should be happy to use it. For me by far, I've experienced no problems except that sometimes I have trouble with the multitouch.
